Born and raised in Boston, and a graduate of Boston College she and her husband raised their (4) sons in the suburbs. There, she was no stranger to navigating School Committees, negotiating Teacher Union contracts, chairing School Building Committees and presenting adopted policies at Town Hall Meetings. All the while, learning to listen earnestly and to prioritize wish-lists with care. With her family now grown, she and her husband Deeb live back in the city, where, until he recently stepped down from his illustrious tenure (21 years) as Chairman of Medicine at Tufts Medical Center, he could walk to work. Both are intrepid travelers, recreationally athletic, gastro-enthusiasts. When not on the go they escape to their Martha’s Vineyard home, lured by walks on the beach, family tennis tournaments and farm to table patio dinners, and mildly competitive crossword solving on their front porch.
